Running Accomplishments:

I have completed the Race for the Cure 5K, Salt Lake City 5K, Heart of Holladay 5K, Deseret News 10K, Provo River 1/2 2006, Top of Utah Marathon 2005, St. George Marathon 2006.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Hopefully, I will lose all of the weight that resulted from having two children within two years (the last 10-15 lbs. are a pain to drop).

Long-Term Running Goals:

I would like to keep improving my times and run each race better than the last one.  I want to keep pushing my body and see how far I can go (without ending up with titanium knees by the time I'm 50).

Personal:

I am married to a great guy.  Running and being active is a big part of our lifestyle.  We typically take our children hiking at least once a week.  Most of the time, I can be seen around the City pushing my two kids in their BOB double-jogger, trying to get a few miles in.

I ran with my friend Elizabeth earlier today.  We ran in the SH area.  The weather was perfect for running today.  It was about 53 degrees when we started.

This week, I need to work on getting my weekday runs in.  I took my gym bag to work each day last week--that's a good start.  Maybe next week, I'll work on actually taking my running shoes and clothes out of the bag.  Who knows, maybe someday, I may acutally run.
